Simulation of intervention in emergency situations
Today, May 13, the Private Service for Emergency Situations at Kastamonu Romania conducted a fire drill exercise. According to the scenario, a car caught fire at around 12 o’clock in the farthest point of the raw materials warehouse, leading to the ignition of timber and causing fumes and toxic gas emissions. In order to extinguish the fire, two fire trucks intervened at the scene. The firefighters intervened on the source of fire and other affected areas, they evacuated the area and gave first aid to a victim. The purpose of this drill was the training of service staff on how to act in emergency situations, and also measuring the reaction time of the crew.
